With member-run events, you book the courts, create the event on UBR, and share the link. Players sign up, the algorithm creates matchups, and everyone gets great games.

Open Play

We are building the most flexible way to play rated badminton. Open Play will let you walk into a partner venue during designated hours, play casual games with whoever is available, and still have every result count toward your UBR rating.

Think of it like an open gym session, but with the structure of a rating system. You will be able to check in at the venue, see who else is there, and challenge players to games. No advance registration, no fixed schedule, no commitments. Just show up and play.

Open Play bridges the gap between structured mixer events and casual pickup games. You get the flexibility of dropping in whenever it works for your schedule, combined with the motivation and accountability that comes from a real rating system tracking your results.
